The most common habit of the 21st century is taking your phone when you go to the bathroom.
It’s a classic one. Like, having a TV in the bathroom – only better. You have the Internet and never-ending fun.
Not taking your phone to the bathroom is almost like not using your phone in the bus or any other form of public transport. Unimaginable, right?
Well, after reading this, you should really think twice before going to the bathroom with your phone ever again.
Bathrooms are the most germ-filled area in the whole house. Not to speak about public bathrooms… they’re full of bacteria and germs, on every corner.
The toilet seat, the flush, the door handle. You’re going to wash your hands afterwards, sure. But can you wash your phone as well?
While you’re touching all over your phone-screen with those germinated fingers, washing them afterwards doesn’t bring any good. Your phone has got the bacteria all over.
And if you’re wiping yourself down there, you’re germinating even the paper and the private areas of your body! Salmonella, Escherichia Coli and similar infections are transmittable as easy as this.
The University of Arizona just recently conducted a study, which showed that “9 phones out of 10 were found to be carrying disease-causing bacteria and 16% of them had invisible traces of excrement! Considering that germs also multiply, these results are truly disturbing”.
Are you reading this while sitting on the toilet?
